Growing up poor allowed Manuel to experience poverty and injustice firsthand. This shaped their worldview and in turn their mission to fight for equality. And being tall and having a striking and imposing figure, they’re not shy to express their views.
Despite their facial hair, muscular build, and very masculine name (you can’t spell “Manuel” without “Man”, and you can’t spell “Camacho” without “Macho”), Manuel came out as non-binary and now uses they/them pronouns.
Manuel has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Cal State LA and teacher certification from UCLA. They first met Chrissy when they volunteered at a cat shelter and became best friends until they stopped being best friends.
They’re in a monogamous relationship with Takeshi.
