The second horse adopted into Wade’s sanctuary ranch, Bucky is the true definition of black beauty.

This stallion had been sold and resold numerous times, but never seemed to have lost his trust in humans. By the time Wade came to Bucky’s rescue, the black horse was severely malnourished and had lost tufts of his fur. With care by the sanctuary ranch’s resident veterinarian Derek and the workers, Bucky regained his health.

Marvel-fan Wade chose the name “Bucky” after seeing the black stallion bond with the ranch’s first stallion Steve (named after Captain America’s Steve Rogers).
