BTS Thoughts

I’ve always wanted to pair Chrissy with Anubis. When I started doing doll photography back in 2013, I had Chrissy as Kemnebi (meaning “black panther”) but I decided to give him a different name for this story. I chose Khemenetneferanpu. “Khemenet” means “one who is joined with,” “nefer” means “beautiful,” and “Anpu” is the ancient Egyptian word for “Anubis.”

Back then, I used an Anubis statue (I still have it) for that photoshoot. I couldn’t believe Phicen/TBLeague actually released sixth-scale figures of Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, including Anubis.

The Anubis figure has an obsidian skin color and it comes with various accessories and two heads: one with regular, closed mouth, and another one with a snarling mouth that bears his teeth.

Unfortunately, the body doesn’t come with penis attachments, so I had to craft them myself.

I posted the the photos on Instagram as part of National King Day (January 23), but then I dropped my external hard drive and lost all the photos contained inside. Luckily, I still retained the raw files in my micro SD card.
