I’m not that familiar with Anne Rice’s vampire lore but are all the male vampires pan? I know Lestat ends up with that woman from Salamanca, so maybe Marius is the only who’s gay.
But anyway, for the third week of Anne Rice August, here’s the comic adaptation of The Vampire Lestat. This book is pretty much half of what we see in the movie with Aaliyah.
The blurb:
The story begins in our own time with Lestat, tall, blond, and handsome, a world-renowned rock star. His gifts are timeless, his youth never withers. But he was not always the powerful and famous child of darkness. Before his long earth-encrusted sleep, he was an aristocrat in the heady days of pre-Revolutionary France. It was then that he came face-to-face with the incarnation of evil and the temptations of love that he has ravenously pursued through time. Where it has led him and what he has become is the heart of the tale that has captured millions of readers.
I only have tiny, ant-sized pages from the comic books, so I won’t be cropping out the nudes and posting them as their own large images because they turned to crap when zoomed in. When I get my hands on the actual print, I’ll scan the pages and repost them here. The TPB is a bit steep (because it’s since become kind of a collector’s edition) but the loose comics are still manageable. It has so many CMNM scenes and if you look at the doll section of this blog, you know it’s one of my kinks.
